Sitka blacktail deer hunts deliver an unforgettable Southeast Alaska experience. Operating from the M/V Denali or possibly spike camps, hunters are immersed in prime, untamed deer country where opportunity begins the moment you step ashore. Each day is an adventure, covering ground through rugged coastal terrain while glassing and stalking blacktails in their wild, natural habitat. Also included in this hunt package is the opportunity to do some duck hunting!

The price of the hunt, lodging, and meals are all included with the purchase of the hunt. 1 round trip to get to base camp via float plane included in price. $500 per day option for a non-hunter Nonresidents can harvest 2 deer – trophy fee is $2800 and you are only charged for the first deer harvested. Prices are subject to change unless deposit and contract are secured.

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

The M/V Denali, A 50’ aluminum motor vessel, built by Sound Craft Marine, serves as basecamp for the hunts. Your Nights will be spent on the M/V denail Sleeping onboard the boat or at a spike camp

Description

Weather in Southeast Alaska is variable and often unpredictable. Hunters should expect cool temperatures, frequent rain, and changing wind conditions. Being prepared for wet weather and layered clothing is essential for comfort and success in the field.
