Description

You'll want to be in excellent physical condition for this incredible, 5 day back country hunting experience in northern Idaho. The elk population is healthy in this area with habitat restoration from burning under brush, no cow elk hunting, fewer bull elk tags and aggressive predator management. This camp has guaranteed tags that do not have to be drawn and are provided at no additional charge to the state tag fee. Hunts are tailored for the ability of the hunter and conducted out of base camp or remote camps. Base camp has generator electricity and hot showers with tent camps with wood heat that sleep 3-4. Remote wall tent camps have cook/meal main tent and sleeping tents for 3-4 also with wood heat. Bring your own sleeping bag. Can sit, glass and stalk to create shooting opportunity or ride mules to cover more ground and get to additional locations where guides are seeing elk. Experienced guides do the calling and bring the bulls in during the rut providing one of the greatest western hunting experiences you can have. Quality depends on the hunter and can be described as a trophy you haven't achieved before.
